Explorers class 2-3 year olds

Our Explorers class is designed specifically for toddlers in the early stages of motor and self-regulation development. At this age, children are building body awareness, balance, impulse control, and the ability to follow simple one-step directions.

Sessions emphasize:

• Large-motor coordination (walking, gentle running, stopping on cue)
• Ball familiarity (rolling, gentle kicking, stopping with hands or feet)
• Color recognition and simple counting exposure
• Listening and freeze commands to support early self-regulation
• Imaginative movement themes that anchor learning through play

Activities are short, predictable, and highly scaffolded. Repetition and routine provide security, while guided storytelling keeps engagement high.

The goal at this stage is confidence, comfort with movement, and positive early experiences in structured group settings.

Pathfinders class 4-6 year olds

Our Pathfinders class is designed for preschoolers ready for increased cognitive and physical challenge. At this stage, children are rapidly developing working memory, inhibitory control, spatial awareness, and cooperative skills.

Sessions include:

• Structured warm-ups with multi-step listening cues
• Intentional ball mastery (inside-foot control, directional movement, stopping on command)
• Sequencing challenges and pattern recognition activities
• Role switching (offense/defense concepts)
• STEAM-integrated themes such as ecology, habitats, counting challenges, and categorization

Children are encouraged to think while they move — recalling color sequences, matching quantities, adjusting speed, and responding to layered instructions.

The goal at this stage is competence: strengthening executive function, coordination, listening skills, and confidence within a structured and developmentally aligned environment.
