At Embers Youth Sports Education, safety is not an afterthought — it is the foundation of how we operate. Every session is delivered with clear structure, defined boundaries, and professional standards appropriate for licensed preschool environments.
Our goal is to create a movement experience that is organized, developmentally appropriate, and physically safe for every participating child.
Professional Standards & Credentials
Embers maintains the following professional qualifications and protections:
• Commercial General Liability Insurance
• Oregon Central Background Registry approval
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Mandatory Reporter certification
Documentation is available upon request for preschool administrators.
Supervision & Structure
All sessions operate under clearly defined supervision and ratio guidelines appropriate for preschool-aged children.
We maintain:
• Clearly marked play boundaries
• Structured session flow with predictable transitions
• Freeze commands and listening protocols
• Written supervision and ratio policies
• Alignment with preschool staff expectations
Embers operates exclusively on preschool grounds and does not transport children.
Incident Reporting & Emergency Preparedness
In the event of an injury or incident, we follow a documented response protocol that includes:
• Immediate assessment and care
• Notification of preschool staff
• Parent communication when appropriate
• Completion of a written incident report
We maintain an emergency action plan and operate in coordination with preschool administration at all times.
Equipment & Enviornment
All equipment used in sessions is:
• Age-appropriate
• Regularly inspected
• Soft and safe for indoor preschool environments
• Set up and removed by Embers
Play spaces are reviewed before each session to ensure safe conditions.

Embers operates as a structured enrichment partner — not a drop-in activity provider. We prioritize organization, communication, and compliance so that preschools can feel confident integrating our program into their daily schedule.
